It's All About Planting Seeds...

                                               PHILOSOPHY

Yes, it's all about planting seeds here at Noah's Ark!  First and foremost, seeds that yield a deep rooted love and devotion for our Lord, Jesus.  Secondly, seeds that produce confidence, curiousity,  creativity, and character in our children. We pray that they leave Noah's Ark with a thirst for learning, and that the seeds we've planted here will continue to grow throughout the rest of their lives.

                                                                               WHO WE ARE...

Noah's Ark Child Center has been serving families in the South Greensburg and the surrounding areas since 1999. We are a family-run, non-profit Christian organization devoted to the task of creating a Christ-centered environment where children can grow, learn and socialize in an atmosphere of respect, kindness and love.  It is a proven fact that children need stimulation for a healthy body and mind.  At Noah's Ark, we strive to provide activities and stimulation that support development in all areas of learning with the Bible and Its teachings being the basis of our core.

                                                                           OUR CORE VALUES

Noah's Ark is a family-run business. We have always had certain values that our family members are expected to uphold.  We run our child care center in the same way and would like to share these values with you to give a more personal view of who we are:

  • To obey God and His commandments

  • To be respectful of everyone at all times

  • To convey a servant's heart

  • To have fun!

                                                CURRICULUM

What feels like "play" to a child is often learning in disguise! Each week our teachers prepare theme-based learning centers and activities that capture the children's interest and really get their minds thinking. Your child will develop social skills in addition to the early literacy, language and math skills they will need for Kindergarten. Art, music, science, and physical activity are also a very important part of our program.

Our curriculum is aligned with Pennsylvania's Learning Standards for Early Childhood.

Noah’s Ark has recently joined Keystone STARS. Keystone STARS stands for Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources, and Support, and is a voluntary continuous quality improvement initiative for child care programs.
